Mar 2021: Concept Northern Announce HQ Move

Concept Northern, Scotland’s leading assistive-technology supplier, are delighted to announce the relocation of our main office to central Glasgow.

Our new base, located at Spiers Wharf next to the historic Forth & Clyde Canal, enables the company to continue offering the same great service to customers while improving our office environment and connectivity.

Located in the iconic Wheatsheaf building, which formed part of the mid-nineteenth century Wheatsheaf Mills, our headquarters are more accessible than ever before. Close to the M8 at Junction 16, with both eastbound and westbound connections, our new HQ is also within walking distance of the City Centre and fifteen minutes away by taxi from Glasgow Airport.

The Wheatsheaf building provides contemporary office space, great meeting areas for collaboration, convenient parking, pleasant open spaces and city views.

“This is an important move for our company,” says Stephen Fitchett, Concept Northern’s General Manager. “It allows us to grow as a business, brings us closer to our customers and gives our staff the benefits of a modern, centrally-located base.”

Our warehouse and dispatch team are on the move too, this time to Paisley. This increases our product storage capacity and improves our access to major transport routes and couriers. The end result is a better service for customers with better stock availability and competitive delivery times.

Concept Northern are evolving but what won’t be affected is our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction across our core business areas. This includes our assistive-technology equipment supply and training for Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), Access to Work and private clients, as well as our e-learning provision and ergonomic assessments (free for students).

“The relocation of our main office and warehouse puts us in a great place to improve the quality of both our employee and customer experience,” says Stephen. “It’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Concept Northern continue to excel and deliver value to customers in 2021 and beyond.”
